James started playing football, aged 7, with Antonine Football Club. Two years later James joined Falkirk F.C. and played with The Bairns until aged 15.
He then moved to Queen’s Park and played for the youth teams and 20s for the past 2 seasons. James signed for the first team in July 2018.
James made his debut for Queen’s Park coming on as a substitute against The Spartans at Hamdpen Park in the Betfred Cup Group H game on Saturday 21 July 2018.
